Evening Gardens is a residential landscape design company located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. We design beautiful gardens that add beauty to their surroundings and provide a comfortable and easily accessible oasis for their owners.

These days, most people only use their gardens during the day, when they can take in the sights of all of the carefully chosen plants and flowers. For most people, a garden is a place to be enjoyed during daylight hours only, when the flowers and other plantings are kissed by glinting sunlight. Our garden landscape designs include much more than just plants. We design your garden from the ground up, including terraces, plantings, pergolas, fences, lighting, and other elements such as water features. We also work closely with first-rate subcontractors who will install stone work and other similar garden accents.

 

We have almost forgotten that the garden is first and foremost a place of delight and of overwhelming sensual pleasure.  In the garden . . . we experience the pleasures of life, great and small, much more intensely:   the company of friends, the scent of the plants, the bright sun beating down, the leaves rustling in the wind, the biting chill of night, the peeping of the birds, the shouts of children, the taste of wine.
